Atlantis
How to find and navigate the dead civilization
Navigating Atlantis
You might have heard of Atlantis during your time playing the game. The great scourge of Dark Age of Camelot, the dread continent that brought the entire game to its knees and as Dark Age of Camelot looked up at Atlantis, tears streaming out in its eyes, begged for mercy. And Atlantis kicked it into the abyss.
Or maybe you just want some sick artifact skins.
To get to Atlantis, you will need to travel to the docks near your realm’s starting town in the Shrouded Isles:
| REALM | TOWN |
|---|---|
| Albion | Gothwaite Harbour |
| Hibernia | Grove of Domnann |
| Midgard | Aegirhamn |
Once the Vision/Dream/Call of Atlantis pulls into dock, right-click it to board and wait for its departure. It will travel a short distance from the dock before a loading screen will appear, teleporting you to the staging ground for the Trials of Atlantis. You will find all manner of merchants and services here.
Albion’s Ruins of Atlantis
Hibernia’s Scrios de Atlantis
Midgard’s Ruinerar av Atlantis
Before moving on, walk into the central camp and you will discover a Djinn Stone. This is a special teleporter found only in Atlantis. Right-click it to unlock the Hall of Heroes as your first teleport point.
Once you are ready to head into Atlantis proper, head up the hill and into the large building. The loremasters and mistresses of the realms have gathered here to study the history and artifacts of Atlantis. Stepping into the blue pillar of light will transport you to Hesperos Haven, the first of four Havens throughout Atlantis. There is another Djinn Stone here that you should unlock before moving on, that will also open up the ability to teleport directly to Hesperos Haven from any Channeler. Each Haven will have its own Djinn Stone for you to unlock.
When you are ready to move on, you have four options:
- Open your map and see the three coloured lines on your map. Each will take you to a different haven.
- Yellow takes you to Stygia
- Grey takes you to Volcanus.
- Green takes you to Notos.
- Boats will regularly arrive at the docks and take you to your desired destination.
- If you do not feel like waiting for a boat and you remembered to bring a Nereid potion for underwater breathing, then just below the water’s surface at the Stygia docks is a triton stablemaster. He will sell you two tickets: One to take an underwater tour around Hesperos and one that takes you to Mesothalassa, the most central zone in Atlantis. From Mesothalassa you will be able to buy tickets to all four Havens.
- Buy and operate your own boat from the shipwright near the docks to Notos. Once you’ve bought the boat, swim a bit out into the ocean and drop the boat from your inventory onto the surface of the water. Right-click the boat to enter it and left-click where you want it to travel to. Additional types of boats are available for purchase for Bounty Points in your realm’s frontier relic town.
- Swim.
Remember to unlock the Djinn Stone in each Haven you visit for future travel.
