Valley of Bri Leith

If you were to cross into the lands east of Lough Derg, you’ll find a place that is steeped in magic. Unpredictable magic. A land where childish laughter can be heard in the distance, taunting you to come discover its source.

The land comes alive here, with living trees and mossy rocks wandering the land, being bossed around by impertinent fairies and other sprites. The spirits of restless elves, known as the Empyrean, also pass from beyond the Veil and into the material plane here.

In the northern mountains are tales of a vast cave network, where silver was once mined in great quantity. It is said that it was this very silver that was used to forge the sword, Claidheamh Soluis, the Sword of Light.

Stick to the road here and, if you aren’t waylaid by the Empyrean, you’ll find yourself at Druim Cain, Hibernia’s eastern frontier keep.

Take care not to cross the valley, for to the east lies the great Cursed Forest. Home to the Faerie Court, bands of fomorians and creatures of legend.
