In the northern most frontier of Midgard, beyond the sturdy gates of Svasud Faste, lies the rugged wilderness of Uppland. Bandits, bone-eaters and beasts all make their home here, preying on each other as often as they do the defenders of Midgard and her invaders.
Within the forests of Uppland, ancient evils lurk among the shadows. Creatures far older than Man, older than the forests themselves. Relics of a colder and crueller world, who managed to survive far past their time through sheer primal brutality.
