Typhon's Reach
THE UNCEASING FLOW KILLS ALL THAT IT TOUCHES
The rivers of lava might appear to have settled but nothing could be further from the truth. A sinister presence with the patience of stars plots the course of these rivers and will, if left unchecked, eventually engulf the entire world in its hateful flames.
Despite this, a few species still manage to survive here. Lava crabs make their home in the soot along the banks of the rivers of lava. Fire-breathing salamanders dart across the darkened plains and up what remains of the trees that once bloomed here. In the east, minotaurs stoke their forges, their thick hides impervious to the heat of the land.
In the south dangerous sun-worshipping fanatics have made their camp, hoping to gain the favour of the one who controls the flames, that they might return to their homeland and burn away their ancient enemy. For what is fire if not the sun’s greatest gift?
