Snowdonia

Past the gates of Snowdonia Fortress lie the western frontiers of Albion. Snowdonia is a mountainous region of the frontiers which sees more enemy activity than Forest Sauvage due to the camp of hostile cyclopes and rebellious Followers of Arawn nearby. Whether all these disparate groups are conspiring against the realm is unknown but it should cause any defenders to remain extra vigilant.

Here rests Albion’s second relic, the staff of Merlin himself. Why he would leave such a powerful item behind has puzzled scholars and laymen alike for many years. Did he leave it behind, should a worthy mage capable of handling its arcane energies one day appear? Or does he simply no longer need it, wherever he might’ve gone? Only time will tell.
