THE HOME OF THE FIRE GIANTS
Muspelheim’s realm gate sits in the northeastern corner of the vale of Mularn. It is this place that breathes fury into fire and flame across the vale, bidding them to rise up and incinerate their masters and rage across the land in an inferno, until they reach Surtr’s otherworldly gate back to their true home.
Across the plane of Muspelheim are myriad fire jötnar, as well as their pets: Fire lizards, fire ants, living fire, skeletons burned by fire, and… well, you understand. Should you decide to cross the liminal space between Yggdrasil’s realms, then mind your every step and do not let your guard down. It is easy to be overwhelmed and there is no safe haven to be found for those who do not heed the warnings.
