Just beyond the Camelot Hills lie the frontiers, a grim reminder of just how close invaders have come in the past to making their way into Camelot itself. Though Castle Sauvage has managed to weather all assaults, it is far from impregnable and the smallfolk worry that it is only a matter of time before their fields burn and their great city is put to the torch.
Beyond Castle Savage’s mighty walls lie the first of Albion’s relics, the scabbard of Excalibur, waiting for the day when the legendary sword is found again and returned to its rightful resting place. It is said that when the sword is once again in hands of Albion’s defender, the wayward realms will be brought to heel once more, and when the sword is finally sheathed again, Arthur’s peace will once again return to all the realms.
