Fomor

When the Fomorians were first fought to a standstill on the clear cut plans of Caillte Garran, they beat a hasty retreat into the caves of the mountain that dominates the center of HyBrasil. Since then, all that remains to signify a continued Fomorian presence is the token guard in the small village they’ve built outside the caves. No patrols scout the border to Domnann or probe the defenses of Droighaid.

The Rangers who managed to find a few narrow passages high in the mountainside returned with confusing reports. The Fomorians in the great caves beneath the mountain appear to have done little to prepare for the next offensive against the combined might of the Sylvan and their Hibernian allies. They appear to have instead dedicated themselves to religious affirmations, but the chants that were heard did not mention their king, Balor, or any other known Fomorian. Perhaps they are summoning forth some creation from the depths, or perhaps they have found something deep beneath the mountain that is worthy of their admiration.
