Black Mountains North is sparsely populated, with only a small waystation as the last stop before reaching the mighty border keep of Snowdonia Fortress.
It is a dangerous area where young adventurers are sure to find a challenge, but be wary not to stray too far to the west, lest you wander into Llyn Barfog and the creatures of legend that dwell there.
