The dread rabbit of Caerbannog awaits on the island of Ellan Vannin
Rites of Spring
Commonly referred to as the “bunny quest,” Rites of Spring is quest on Eden which is based on the Easter event from Live. It involves killing the same dread rabbit, however it has been renamed from Harbinger of Spring to the Harbinger of Doom, and can be picked up from the following NPCs:

It is recommended to gather at least one full group in order to complete the quest but a small battlegroup will of course make things easier. At the very least, bring capable crowd controllers.
Once you are ready to begin, head towards Ellan Vannin. There are three ways of getting there:
- The NPC on the large teleporter pad in your realm’s relic town can teleport you directly to Ellan Vannin if the island is not currently designated as “skirmish zone,” meaning it is currently used as a zone for renegades to fight and you will not be able to teleport straight there.
- The portal stone in your realm’s relic town can send you to either Caer Benowyc, Dun Crauchon or Bledmeer Faste (or a nearby keep) and you can cross the bridge onto Ellan Vannin from there.
- No matter which boat you buy, from any of the docks in the frontiers, it will pass by Ellan Vannin in some direction. Use “/disembark” near any of the bridges or docks to make your way onto the island.
The Harbinger of Doom can be found around the periphery of Ellan Vannin, so make your way around, taking care to not aggro the groups of Templars, treasure hunters and other enemies around the map. The fight itself is fairly simple but can quickly go awry.
The rabbit’s primary mechanic is that the longer the fight goes on for, the harder he will hit, so speed is of the essence.
Additionally, he will frequently summon small groups of faeries as adds. These faeries will need to be crowd controlled as soon as they spawn and then focused down by the damage dealers. If they are ignored, they will begin to use crowd control spells against the players, allowing the rabbit to easy take down your tank and then the rest of the group.
The quest rewards players with the “Bracelet of Springtime Folly.”
