World's End
EVIL LURKS BENEATH THE END OF THE WORLD
Said to be the oldest part of HyBrasil, as well as the tallest. When the world was young, it was this part of the island that first appeared from beneath the waves. As the water cleared away and the raw soil was revealed, the sun shone bright and each ray of sunlight planted each blade of grass, and at night each star picked where a tree would be planted. When the sun and stars were done, they look to the moon to judge their great work. Overcome with joy at the beauty they had created, the moon planted a tree of its own. This tree would grow bigger than any other and would serve as a womb from which each animal would emerge, when the time was right. This tree became known as Galladoria, the Wish of Life.
The wild creatures of the land still rule this part of HyBrasil, just as they did in ancient times. Though wild does not mean savage. Adventurers willing to prove themselves might find allies among the first to emerge from beneath Galladoria’s roots.
