Stygian Delta

In the Stygian Delta, as well as in the Lands of Atum to the west, the sun bears down upon all who inhabit it with unbearable heat. Any adventurer looking to make a name for themselves here would do well to travel light, carrying only the essentials and filling up on as much water as possible, lest they be tempted to refill their waterskins from the single river that runs through the land. Malicious water djinni make their home in the crystal waters here and the servants of Sobek guard the riverbanks along with their lesser kin.

South of the river is the largest congregation of the native Mau. Lion-headed beastmen, blessed by Bastet and Sekhmet, and locked in an ancient war for the limited resources of the land against the hated Setians. Setians are the jackal-headed servants of Anubis.

Not much remains of the Atlanteans’ legacy here, for most of it has already been swallowed up by the sands.
