After much deliberation as to the authenticity of the vision that had been granted to the most powerful men and women of the realm, it was not until messages from spies abroad spoke of the same visions happening across the realms that action was deemed necessary.

In Tir na Nog’s sacred grove, communion with the spirits of the land carried on for days, with an audience worried that the druids would succumb to thirst or exhaustion before any decision was made. After 9 days of uninterrupted communion did the grand druid send word to the bards that Fieona would be the one to lead this expedition as head sage.

With all possible haste, expeditions were organized to the mysterious island ruins where ancient power was promised to be revealed. Scholars pushed and shove each other with a fury matched only by that of the crushing advance of two opposing armies upon the frontiers, in order to secure one of the limited spots in the expeditions’ ships.
