ANCIENT EVILS TUNNEL BENEATH THE REALMS
In the frontier lands of the Pennine Mountains, Breifine and Jamtland Mountains are dark passages, leading deep underground. The fanatical chanting of cultists occasionally echo out from the depths, reminding the warriors of the realms passing by that danger lurks not just on distant shores, but also just below the surface. It is a problem that the defenders can ill afford to ignore for long, for who knows what foulness the chanting madmen are beseeching?
Preliminary scouting expeditions have reported that the caves appear to stretch on and on for ages, leading some to speculate that it is all one interconnected cave network, joining the realms together underground. This could prove advantageous in certain scenarios.
