THE NEVER-ENDING CAULDRON SPEWS ITS MAGIC INTO THE LAND
Beyond the safety of Druim Cain’s massive wooden gates, lies Mount Collory, the southern frontier of Hibernia. When the Celts pushed the last of the Unseelie Court into the Cursed Forest, they named themselves the rulers of the island of Hibernia. The Tuatha Dé had been watching events from beyond the Veil and seeing the arrogance of the Celts, revealed themselves in an awe-inspiring display of divine power and cutting the Celts’ celebrations short. In respect of the Celts’ ferocity and determination, the Tutha Dé willingly negotiated over who would rule the island. In the end, the people of Hibernia were given dominion over the material realm, while the Tuatha Dé would rule all the worlds beyond the Veil. As a parting gift, The Dagda, chief god of all the Tuatha Dé, would leave his magical cauldron on the island of Hibernia. Here it would eternally bubble and sputter, permeating the entire island in the arcane energies that Hibernian mages channel for their supreme destructive magics.
