Emain Macha

Not far from the northern shore of Hibernia lie the ruins of Macha’s Brooch, the ancient temple fortress dedicated to the goddess Macha.

When the dragonships and galleys arrive from distant shores, it would be in the best interest of Hibernia’s defenders to repel them quickly. Should the invaders manage to get a foothold, they will be much better positioned to continue the fight south, through either the swamps of Dun Bolg or the ruins across the river.
