Dartmoor
A ONCE-BEAUTIFUL LAND NOW LAID BARE AND DESOLATE BY A RACE OF GIANT DESTROYERS
Since the time when the Romans still had a presence in Albion, Britons had been warned to not trespass into the area known as Dartmoor. Legend tells that a young King Arthur, as a sign of his worthiness to rule the lands of Albion, ventured into the forbidden land, only to return badly burned and bruised, telling people to heed the words of caution that their forebears had told them.
However much has changed since Arthur’s death. Dangers encroach on all sides, lands that were once safe to settle and raise a family or plow fields into, grow smaller and old warnings are worth little in the face of hunger or worse.
