Connacht is a land of beauty and danger. Stick to the road and you’ll enjoy scenic views and images of a quaint, idyllic life. Stray from the beaten path though, and you’ll find that Hibernia’s beauty is but a facade for the monsters that dwell in the woodland realm’s mighty forests.
Along the road going north from Lough Derg, not far from Mag Mell, is the town of Tir na mBeo.
Continue north from here, cross the river and you’ll soon find yourself at Druim Ligen, Hibernia’s northernmost frontier keep.
If you instead were to head west, you would find yourself on the road to the Cliffs of Moher, passing by the capital of Tir na Nog on the way.
If you choose to wander off the path to the north west, then be prepared for all manner of vile creatures. Demons, undead and all manner of fae creature dwell in these lands, and Hibernia is not as tame as might first seem.
