People had long wondered why the Avalonians, beings of superior magical talent, had willingly made their first settlements in a swamp when their talents could easily see them finding homes within Camelot’s mighty walls. The reason seemed lost even to them, until one fateful day when a diminutive creature, originally mistaken for a Kobold (and subsequently nearly put to the sword) approached the keep of Lord Adribard claiming to bear secret knowledge.
This would be the first time an Inconnu was seen on the surface of Albion. A dark fairy tale made manifest, bearing grim tidings.
