Many explorers claim to have traveled beyond the world’s edge, returning home to tell tales of the things they saw there to an adoring public all too eager to buy them drinks as payment for their tales.
Most are lies.
Only the select few who have truly gone beyond the world’s edge know that what lies there is too strange for any audience to believe. Even explaining the path one took to get there is enough to risk being ostracized from society. It is something that must be seen with your own eyes to believe, and even then, some would rather deny the reality in front of them.
